Sherman-Denison MPO releases proposed amendments to the 2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for public review and comment

SHERMAN, TX (May 11, 2021) – The Sherman-Denison Metropolitan Planning Organization (SDMPO) is the organization charged with transportation planning for the greater Sherman-Denison Urbanized Area, which includes Grayson County, and is the recipient of federal planning funds.

The SDMPO is releasing proposed amendments to the 2021-2024 TIP for public review and comment. The TIP contains a listing of projects which the SDMPO intends to pursue over the four (4) year period. The proposed amendments to the 2021-2024 TIP can be found on SDMPO’s website at www.sdmpo.org .

In addition, the SDMPO will host a virtual public meeting on May 26, 2021 at 5:30 pm via www.zoom.us. Instructions on how to connect to the Virtual Public Meeting can also be found at www.sdmpo.org .

Comments may be submitted by email to: barnettc@co.grayson.tx.us. All comments must be received by 8:00 am on June 7, 2021 to be included in the public record. The proposed amendments to the 2021-2024 TIP will be placed before the SDMPO Policy Board at its Wednesday, June 23, 2021 meeting for approval.
