CoServ Donates to TCOG’s Utility Assistance Program
SHERMAN, FEBRUARY 27, 2023 –
Judy Fullylove, Energy Services Director of Texoma Council of Governments (TCOG) accepted a donation of $3,500.00 from the CoServ Charitable Foundation. Jennifer Ebert, Outreach Coordinator for CoServ presented the check to Fullylove during a meeting in Denton.
“The CoServ Foundation partnered with Texoma Council of Governments in 2017 and has provided a total of $79,038.85 in grant funding to TCOG in the last six years,” said Fullylove.
The funds will be used to provide utility assistance to CoServ members and customers for electricity, natural gas, and water. Visit TCOG’s website: www.tcog.com/energy/apply for qualifications.
The Texoma Council of Governments is a voluntary association of the local governments in Cooke, Fannin and Grayson counties. Established in 1968, Texoma Council of Governments promotes economy and efficiency in the coordinated planning and development of the tri-county region through its community and economic development activities. Both directly and through contractors, the Council provides housing, utility assistance, and weatherization services for low-income citizens in the region and assists the elderly through a variety of Area Agency on Aging programs. The Council also facilitates the delivery of grant funding for homeland security and criminal justice.
