Indicators of Livability

Summary

Livability data is important for fully understanding the inner workings of a community. Crime, income levels, access to food, air quality, and walkability are all factors that will often determine the economic health and stability of a place. The purpose of this report is to help a better understand the livability in the community or a project area that is measured by: (1) Walkability Index, (2) Air Quality – Respiratory Hazard Index, and (3) Income Inequality/ Gini Index).
